Dear Teddy fan:
I have been lucky enough to compete at the international level for over 30
years. While I have learned and benefited from all the horses I have ridden,
only a few have had a significant effect on my life. Teddy is among those few.
We crossed paths at an important time for both of us. Everything about Teddy is
impressive.
He is intelligent, athletic and beautiful. He has great conformation, so as to
endure a long and successful career. I so look forward to the 2007 season. His
education has become more solid over the winter. His self-confidence has gone
to a new level.
I am very honored to be able to ride him. When Mark Phillips first saw Teddy
jump with me, I said: "He has rocket fuel in him, doesn't he?" Mark's response
was, "No, I think he has a rocket in each leg."
Teddy is truly a class act. I am so pleased that we are able to syndicate him
now. This syndication enables Wynn and me to share Teddy's journey with a group
of people who understand how special he is. I look forward to continuing his
all-important education, so he can realize his potential and tower over those
twice his size.
